I have loved this series since they day I found out about it. Some parts are recommended for older girls (or guys) but overall it had REALLY good life lessons and good detail. Sad this is the last book but it was great. ;)

This book is only worth reading if you've read all of the other Alice books and want to know what happens. Otherwise, it's a poorly written book. I think that Phyllis Reynolds Naylor should have just written a list of everything that happened to Alice and her friends, and it would have been better than reading the whole book (and quicker, too). The one thing that bugged me throughout it was how fast-paced it is. It covers about 40 years and has a constant rushed feeling. But with the passage of time, you would expect changes (in technology, in world issues, etc.); for instance, the fact that Alice uses Facebook in university, and then her children 20 years later use it seems hardly believable to me. Still, I see why she wrote this book, if only to tie up all the loose ends. Read it if you like the Alice books. If not, don't bother picking it up . It won't make much sense.
