Wow, what an absolutely powerful story! The storylines of the two women are very expertly and intricately woven. Wasn't sure I would give it a chance about 1/3 of the way through but am so glad I did. Highly recommend it!

I really enjoyed the uniqueness of this story - a mystery being solved with the cleaning and restoring of an old mural. It had parallel stories of present and past, which was well managed and not confusing, and it helped that the ending was a nice touch.

The two storylines are seamlessly told, and equally interesting. Very appealing from the start with a nice merging of stories. Well done.
