Harliquin style writing with a heroine who is a policewoman/ auto mechanic with a BA in English lit. and discovers she has some magic powers. Not my style of novel

Not bad. A bit slow, but a fun summer read.

Excellent paranormal
Heroine is new to 'powers' - not comfortable therewith

A very interesting book, well written, excellent character voice and gripping. It bogged a little towards the end, but I'm still very much looking forward to getting my hands on a copy of the next in the series.

A fun fast paced gritty urban fantasy with a fabulous strong female main character. She's strong, sarcastic and believable!
