One of the rare horror anthologies with a sharp sense of storytelling and an intrinsic ability for irony and metaphor.

Unlike what aaa5756 has said, this movie is not just "okay". It is one of the greatest Horror films ever made for all time!!! It is a solid gold classic! One does not simply just say that this is "okay" unless they are not a Horror fan to begin with. Do not listen to aaa5756. He/she doesn't know what they're talking about. The fact that he/she fast forwarded through this movie shows that they don't care about Horror to begin with. This is how classic Horror is done. The movie isn't scary, at least to me, but then again, it did come out in 1982, but that does not mean that it's not an amazing movie. What makes a movie fantastic is when it stands the test of time, which in my opinion, this movie will never, ever, ever go out of style. The movie is mixed with animation, which is appropriate, given that it is based on the Horror comics of the 1950's. This movie also has an outstanding cast, an eerie soundtrack, and great stories! And by the way, I've watched Horror movies all my life for over 37 years, so unlike the other reviewer, I actually can speak from experience in watching Horror films.

It was O.K for a home TV movie. I was entertained and interesting. But it was NOT worth the long library wait or the price to rent from a Red Box. I fast forwarded a lot but not all the way.
