You can't learn how to survive on the land from just one book. It's definitely a process, one that used to be handed down from one's elders, lived daily and then handed down again. This book is merely an introduction into each phase of homesteading and then one should find more books to educate oneself and learn by doing!

Honestly, if this is the only book I had for an apocalyse I would be doomed. Pretty book, but not so good with complete 'how to'.
