holy crap what a boring read! This genre is becoming the worst, each generation of writers falling shorter and shorter of the mark set by their elders. I'm so glad Robert Ludlum and hell Don Pendleton aren't alive to see this day and age. I wouldn't be surprise if Stephen Coonts throws up reading these dog and pony shows that pass for action literature.

Mediocrity at it's worst.

Non-stop action is much better when there is a credibility factor. In this case… there really wasn't one so it turned the book into a cartoonish attempt at an action/thriller

This book is not the best of the Scarecrow series, but still a great read.
Matthew Reilly is one of the best action writers publishing today ("Temple"), followed closely by James Rollins' "Sigma Force" series and Jonathan Maberry's "Joe Ledger" series.
It is not lacking in plot, just simple, find the bad guys and take them out. If you want character development, start at the beginning of the series. If you want believability stick to Fiction.

I couldn't help but think I was reading the script to an action video game and I couldn't get the digital images out of my head. There wasn't much of story; and I think the cast from the movie “The Expendables” should go after the movie rights. That said I can only give it two stars. Sorry my testosterone driven friends.

Shane Schofield and team are full of fast paced action, as all the books were. Leaves you wanting more!

Always love Captain Shane Schofield and his team! Despite jam-pack with action (most are naively impossible and non-believable), the story is a bit lacking in plot, character development and storyline. I miss those intricate mazes, trapdoors and obstacles in earlier books from the author. It turns the story into one of those shallow B-Action flicks where the lead character go through the motion, destroying everything in his path but the always come through with their make-up and hairdo still intact.

WOW!!! Tom Clancy move over!! Captain Shane Schofield and his team are my new heroes. This book has everything you could ask for--action, humour, and more action. This is the first book I have read from this author. I will be reading his others.

Fast pace story full of action. Once you start reading you'll never put it down until you reach the end of the book.
