Very boring book, didn't finish it, and that's surprising for me because I love true crime books. There is no suspense at all and he goes into endless and not very interesting detail and speculation about what family members and detectives were thinking along the way. Either none of these people were really very interesting, or this is not a very good author, probably the latter.

This was the first M. William Phelps book I ever read and if the others are like this one, I don't think I'll be too quick to pick them up. Though the book wasn't horrible, I felt it was a bit sloppy, repetitive and bare. I'm not sure if he didn't have a lot of background info on Christine and the victims, but I felt like a lot of good info was left out. He spent too much time on the crime scene and everything else was info you'd find on Wiki. A disappointment.
