Find out who the New Avengers are, where they call home (gotta see it to believe it!), which Dark Avenger has joined their ranks, and just who the interdimensional demonic threat to our existence is! These heroes have gathered to take on the threats too dark, too dangerous, and too bizarre for any other team of heroes. The New Avengers are back!!

The New Avengers-Lite. A simple romp through extra-dimensional planes makes for a fun story. Don't come looking for cannon or anything that's true to it though.

Yet another chance for Bendis to continue to infest the Avengers universe and overstay his welcome. The man doesn't know how to take a hint. In the wake of Siege, the Avengers were reorganized into several books, and unfortunately Bendis continued to have a stranglehold on two of them at the time. This is one of them, with Luke Cage and a squad confronting a magical crisis. Bendis has a horrible style of writing, completely incapable of writing characters with their own distinct voices. He has no respect, none at all, for continuity and history. And he infests the book with his pet character Jessica Jones, a character who pretty much destroyed any credibility Cage had as a character (he's much, much less annoying being written by much better writers). Unfortunately Bendis seems to be the flavour of the moment and the best friend of the man who still pulls the strings at Marvel.
