The writer's of this script had an insightful way of putting together so many different circumstances that rooted themselves into one moment of time. What happened to Frank? Everyone owned crap cars, lived poorly and cluttered. It did keep me interested in what was going to happen next but I kept thinking that I didn't want to be wasting my time watching it and the ending was quick.

Holy Cow! Can I give it a negative star rating? Please?
Again, stupid & demented. (Typical Follywood.) Tying to be "clever", the film is unbelievably stupid, since reality doesn't even have a pretense in the film. And demented, for a myriad of reasons that I'll spare you, if you're smart enough to not waste your time watching this film. (Ooo. Lucky you!)

Well done movie about somewhat farfetched synchronicities coming together for a comitragic night.

Pretty good acting in one of those strange stories where the same moment in time is revisited from multiple perspectives. Very engaging, and every time the clock reset, I kept thinking "Oh, no! How can things get even worse for these tragic people?"

"When King Henry the eighth reigned in Europe there was no American girl, yet there was a decapitated queen of prior desire."

At precisely 11:14 pm, on a lonely stretch of highway, five disparate yet oddly connected stories converge for one brief moment. By the time 11:15 rolls around one exasperated policeman will have to contend with two dead bodies, a botched robbery, a mysterious hit and run, and a little severed penis. Laced with a grim sense of humour Greg Marcks‘ fatalistic drama begins with a straightforward plot device---a car accident; then, by rewinding his camera five separate times, he proceeds to challenge our understanding of what we just witnessed as we see all the events which led up to that one opening crash. Buoyed by some good performances and with enough twists and tangles to keep you entertained, 11:14 does manage to flesh out its eighty minute running time. But the use of intersecting stories and repetitive timelines is hardly new, having been used in other films with much greater effect, here it comes across as a wee bit gimmicky. The story is pretty cool though, and Marcks certainly has enough surprises to spring on an unwary audience. An intelligently written no-brainer with a wicked heart.

Hohum first dozen minutes or so but got more interesting when a string of odd characters appeared in this out-in-the-left-field drama. The complex roles played by Cook, daughter and hometown slut, and Swayze, as the will do anything for the daughter daddy, made the movie memorable.

It was O.K for a home TV movie. I was entertained and interesting. But it was NOT worth the long library wait or the price to rent from a Red Box. "I fast forwarded a lot but not all the way.”

Dark, oddball film follows the activities of various small-town teenagers on one critical, disastrous night. Eventually its diverse plot threads resolve themselves into a surprisingly nifty ending.

Cop: What's in the trunk?
Driver: You need a warrant to look in the trunk. I know the law.
Cop: Oh, really? So then you know the term "exigent circumstance"?
Driver: There's nothin' in there but an old tarp. See?
Cop: You sick xyzz! (thought the driver hit a deer) You think just because you didn't shoot her, you can cart her off?
Driver: Her?
Cop: I don't see any antlers, do you? It's not even season yet.
Driver: Well, I didn't think it should go to waste.
