I concur with the reviewer's sentence //// In Brinkley's final analysis Kennedy's successes were modest \\\\ not with the author's sentiments, though. The NASA space program, which paved the way for untold number of technological achievements in communications, computer and digital electronics, advanced earth resources satellite technology, biomedical engineering, polymyer checmistry, weather prediction, et cetera to the infinite! And the Internet, which paved the way for the World Wide Web, which has exponentially spread knowledge and information across the globe. Would instead once again recommend Donald Gibson's outstanding book, Battling Wall Street: the Kennedy presidency. [And let us never forget the way Kennedy stood up to the plutocrats, and US Steel and GE, instead of kowtowing to them as later quasi-democratic presidents have.]
