This book comes highly recommended by fellow library staff. An excellent first novel by Charlotte Rogan. When Grace's husband obtains a spot for her on a lifeboat from a sinking ocean vessel, this begins the 20+ day ordeal in the tiny vessel. Much of the story is told from Grace's journal and the recollections are harrowing and arduous. Several jaw dropping moments. In the final analysis, we are left wondering is Grace an innocent or is she diabolical? Really enjoyed listening to this cd. This is a very different story about a horrific ordeal.
