I couldn't get past the first ten minutes of either movie. The angry antiwar hippie protagonist of "Drive, He Said" was unbearable. Absolutely intolerable. And at my next and final hopeful attempt with "A Safe Place" (that should've been titled "Lost In Space", but that was already taken) with the eye-candy that was Tuesday Weld, her looks weren't enough to compensate for the irritation of her ditzy nonsense. Horribly bad double feature. And that's after a total of twenty minutes for both. ACK. ½ star is too much.
