I really liked Mr. Suarez's first two books, in fact, I really loved them, but this book was far too status quoy, far too American Exceptionalistic.
I like Suarez's near future bent, but this offering fell short of his previous work in my mind. Couldn't quite suspend my disbelief.
Something about Suarez stories that really get me hooked. He is one of the best writers I know for taking current technology trends and advancing them to terrifying conclusions. The scary thing is that you are never quite sure how much of these events are already in the works.
