This comment isn't about the book, it is about the person that decided to write their comments on the book in pencil in the book. You will probably never read this but if you do or to anyone that also writes comments in books. DON'T! I and many others read to escape numpties like you. We dont want to be disturbed by the idiot that thinks their opinion on the book matters. If we want someone's opinion we will look for reviews. Not a dumba** with a number 2 pencil.

typical crime drama

Fair dinkum Aussie battler of a read. Unlikely to be life changing. Follow Cliff Hardy on a tour of the affluent suburbs of Sydney as he single handedly tackles money crime, along with demented Lebanese and Chinese gangsters.

Provides affirmation for baby boomers as Hardy the retired PI, grandfather and open heart surgery survivor somehow out muscles and out thinks the hit men and money men to bring down an international conspiracy which vaguely threatens that criminals will take over Australia (didn't that already happen?).

Best line - "Corbett snuffed out his rollie and took a big slurp of rum and Coke. 'You're a wanker, Hardy.'"
