The author, a physician, makes conjectures concerning the health and deaths of various famous authors (Orwell, Shakespeare, Bronte, Melville, et al), based on known symptoms and medical history. I found it most interesting from a biographical perspective of the authors. The medicine varied from likely to imaginative, and many of the authors received an OCD or Asperger's diagnosis. This may be significant, coincidental, or simply the two favorite diagnoses in the author's toolbox.
It was a light adventure, and I recommend it to any reader interested in the Writers presented.
