Do your children have pets? Do they love them? Would they like to have a dinosaur as a pet? Anyway, they would be curious to hear about not so simple relationship of the hero of the father-son duo, Neil and Marc Sedaka’s new book with his dinosaur pet. On the heels of the popularity of Neil’s Sedaka Waking Up is Hard to Do book, his son, Marc has added an amazing children’s verse to his father’s famous since 1961 hit “Calendar Girl” in Dinosaur Pet. The book is accompanied with music CD and anyone who enjoyed the original tunes of Grammy awarded author will be toe-tapping to this new version. The book and its colorful illustrations by well-known artist, Tim Bowers, act as a perfect kid-centered piece. It is a great group story time or sing-along piece for the preschool age groups, especially the twos and the threes who might want to dance and rock along. Included on the CD in addition to Dinosaur Pet two more original pieces, She Moved Away and The Tooth Fairy will keep the kids rocking after all the pages have been turned. Enjoy!
