This series of books are exactly what they claim to be - good, surface, overview, introductory material. I got some great, general, basic ideas and insights.

By no means is it an exhaustive look at all things mind mapping and all the potentialities - nor does it try to be. Highly recommend for what it is worth - just set your expectations appropriately.
