Sadly, you will not find out factual information from someone affiliated with American Public Media's (Fox Lite) Marketplace. Allow me to correct this author: all the markets are rigged for the upper echelon. Read the SEC Litigation Release site for the last 12 years. To repeat, ALL the markets are rigged for the upper .01%: LIBOR rates, forex, interest rate derivatives, precious metals markets, naked short selling by way of the DTCC's Stock Borrow Program (virtual shorting), endless financial manipulation confusing the mass of Americans. Internalization business (brokerages selling the majority of their stock sales every day to the top banks and hedge funds) allows for absolute manipulation of the retail stock market. Simply read the list of the top 35 asset management firms, then it becomes obvious.
