I love all of the Ladybug farm book series. I've recommended them to several friends. These women & their lives are completely relatable to me & my friends, their struggles, their dreams, even how each of them have a talent & flaws that brings a richness to their combined lives. I wish there were more books to come.

This is the May 2015 selection for the Willa Cather Book Club. I would categorize this book as chick lit fantasy for middle aged women. Cici, Lindsay, and Bridget purchase a rundown mansion in the Shenandoah Valley on a whim. The novel follows their first year as disaster, eerie surprises, and just plain bad luck dog their heels. This book spoke to more than one person as 4 more titles follow this first book.

An enjoyable, light read. But, I was hoping for more history of the Shenandoah Valley.
