One of the best things about this book was that I thought the price boxes were accurate, perhaps even a little high for my area. The recipes read like someone is teaching you how to make it rather than just a list of instructions, so it feels like you could easily make any of these you try. I wish there were pictures for all the recipes. Saved on my list: The sandwich that tastes like summer, Spicy watermelon and feta salad, French onion soup, and Thanksgiving leftover pot pies.

Good Heavens!! 8x4= $32. Hmmm the "working folk" must be high end CEO's. lol if you can't make a meal for four under $8 a person you need more help than this book!! Geesh.
