A lot of fun. The outlandish premise really pays off, making it seem (in retrospect) an obvious choice.
An intriguing new status quo for the wall crawler. Slott has gone and done a mindswitch between Peter and Doctor Octopus, leaving Peter to die while Octavius has taken over his body and dedicated himself to being a superior hero to his old enemy. Only Peter's not quite dead. Slott runs with this theme quite well, and in this first volume, he's backed up with good art from Stegman and Camuncoli. Unfortunately that's not always the case, as a reprehensibly bad artist named Ramos tends to lurk in the Spider-titles, and just won't go away.
