Starts of a bit disappointingly, but then delves into details via scholarship that reveals the psychological biases that were at work when brilliant scientists made mistakes in their professional conduct. It was very interesting to get a behind-the-scenes glimpse at a few key moments in the history of science.

The subject matter is interesting, at least I think it would be to the scientifically curious sort. But the presentation is scattered and disjointed. The author seems unable to stay on the subject. This book to me read like it was rushed into production, and needed another round or two of editing for continuity and clarity. If you can put up with the amateurish scatter-brained presentation, it's worth a listen.
