"Jerusalem is the story of a single family--three generations of very different people--as they are swept up in the chaos of nation-making from 1940 to 1948. Love, death, faith, family, and politics form the perilous mix that fuels this ambitious, cinematic graphic novel about the events surrounding the creation of the modern Israeli state."--Dust jacket.

Mildly informative but not very memorable. It gave me a better understanding of what Israel was like during the 1940s, including its different factions, but the characters were really broadly depicted and not very compelling or interesting.

This is not only better than Mike's Place, but the ending will leave a strong impression with little to no flaws.

I found it more appropriate for adolescents then adults.

The story is incredibly interesting, but I found the illustrations made it difficult to distinguish between the characters.
