A well written memoir about a very difficult topic. Those who have suddenly lost their spouse will find many of the situations and emotions she discusses to ring true, especially if, like the author, you are years removed from your loss. For those new to widowhood, her insight may be helpful in understanding the journey you are now on, although her humor at times could be off-putting.
