Interesting way to learn history, although reminiscent of the "39 Clues" series.

Solid start to a time travel/help save time series for 8+. Similar style to the 39 Clues series (multiple contributing authors). Not a completely original concept, since something very similar was done by Margaret Peterson Haddix in her Missing series.

I got into this after I heard about it from 39 Clues and am glad that I did!!!!!!! Awesome!!!!!!
"History is broken... and it's up to best friends Dak Smyth and Sera Froste to fix it. Travelling back in time to correct "Great Breaks" where history has gone off course, the two friends ally with a group known as the Hystorians against the oppressive and mysterious SQ, the shadowy organization that rules this alternate America. The Hystorian's Guide included in this 1st fast-paced thriller in the new Infinity Ring series gives readers access to a 3-D online game that extends the story. For more maybe-not-so-believable but incredibly fun, action-packed fiction that fiddles with history, check out Johnny O'Brien's Day of the Assassins." This was a very interesting book! It has a really cool background and I can't wait to read the second!
Weird topic history is broken, seems like something a history teacher would say. Great series!
