I really enjoyed this book. I don't always like SLP's books - they are sometimes corny. This story, however, has humor without being overwhelming. Good read and even though this book was published in 2000, the politics/congress sounded just like today!

It took a little while for me to warm up to Mat, but once I did, I was in for the long haul. Great light read.

Enjoyed this light read about a "First Lady" wanting to escape from that role. Susan Elizabeth Phillips' writes with a surprising amount of humor.

Love this book. I find myself rereading it again and again for a humorous light read.
