Three of the four air disasters a child survivor is found in the wreckage. The children all exhibit disturbing behavioural problems, presumably caused by the horror they lived through. When a rapture cult led by a charismatic evangelical minister insists that the survivors are three of the four harbingers of the apocalypse. The Three are forced to go into hiding, but as the children's behaviour becomes increasingly disturbing, even their guardians begin to question their miraculous survival.

I can't comment on the written version of this book, it seems well written and I guess was popular enough to get an audio book...
this audio book was a serious disappointment. we took it on a long car trip, and yes, we finished it.
here's the premise--four planes crash simultaneously around the world, with 3 (or maybe 4) child survivors, prompting apocalyptic discussions. the cover has a good quote by Stephen King, sounds like a winner, right?!?
a mere 14 hours later, we wished the world actually had ended so this audio book would end. we kept thinking that everything was setting the stage for the good stuff...nope.
my opinion is--this is a pointless and repetitive story.
I want to go on and on, but who knows, you might like it...
