Formidable though they may have been, Rama's opponents in that fateful building were nothing more than small fish swimming in a pond much larger than he ever dreamed possible. And his triumph over the small fry has attracted the attention of the predators farther up the food chain. His family at risk, Rama has only one choice to protect his infant son and wife. He must go undercover to enter the criminal underworld himself.

I was looking forward to seeing The Raid 2. The Raid had been an energetic and exciting watch. The Raid 2 was garbage. The plot was shoddily put together, as if it was an afterthought, and it lacked the zeal of the original.

Too bloody and much of the violence was unnecessary. The movie was too long. There was a plot but the plot was poorly constructed. Very disappointing. The first movie was much better in terms of action.

Unlike The Raid 1, there were significant footage on character building and deep undercover plot, hence two and a half hours long. Watched the dubbed in English language and surprised how natural and good were the dialogues, no less because it's writer producer is Gareth Evans who is British.

Bejo: It's a question of ambition really. Let me rephrase that. It's a matter of limitation. And the importance
of knowing yours. Your boss, Tama. He had a reputation, yes. But he also knew where he stood, understood how high he should climb. That's why Bangun let him be the man he was. Don't mind them. I'm a reasonable man. Like you, I have ambitions. But you see, in this world of ours, it's really more of a "one step at a time" kind of thing. And you should have been some xxyzing steps away from a meeting like this.
Uco: Sir, with all due respect, but the man you're talking about was like a brother to my father and uncle to me. A man of loyalty to our family for over30 years. If you speak ill of him again, I swear to God...
Bangun (Father): Enough! Only a fool argues for the pride of a dead man.
