The instructor is personable. The content is easily comprehensible. Feels a little padded to fill out the time demands of a full course: could be more succinct.

This is a very engaging and thought-provoking course that covers the practice of mindfulness, the benefits it provides underpinned by neurobiological research, and how it can be used in Western psychotherapy to deal with issues such as depression, trauma, and addiction. There is also a bonus disc with sample mindfulness practices. Some of the most interesting lectures cover the power of the mind to address chronic pain and illness. The success of the course rests on the deep knowledge and delivery of the instructor, an extremely likeable individual whose anecdotes and self-deprecating humour make the lessons enjoyable to watch. The course is very accessible and intellectually interesting, and is sure to generate introspection. Highly recommended.

Long, but well explained. If you are searching for techniques for calm and control, you will find something in here.
