An excellent movie with an excellent actor...and sadly his last film....

This movie ended up being better than I thought. It appears that most people think that Just because Robin Williams was in it that it should be funny. This movie was very touching and made you think what the important things are in life.

The beginning is promising. But then it goes from funny to serious, and I wish it would have just stuck with one. Ultimately, the story is predictable and not very interesting.

I had hoped this would be funnier, but I really liked this and picked it up because Peter Dinklage is in it. I wish he had more lines.

Interesting story, seemed like an independent film to me. Robin Williams' performance was great, as usual. Not a comedy.

I know Robin Williams is an excellent dramatic actor (i,e, Good Will Hunting), I guess that is why I was so looking forward to his role in this movie. I am so disappointed! All the shouting and stamping around did not make this story (what story?) any more believable. A sorry choice, It was almost painful to watch this knowing his future.

In spite of all the negative comments, I liked this message in this movie. Robin Williams was an incredible actor. This is the second movie I have seen recently that he is the star and the content addresses death. I think the message is that at the end of life,
family is most important, not money and possessions. If only we had the time to make amends. We should be thankful and let our friends and family know everyday how important they are and not wait until the last 90 minutes or deathbed forgiveness or worse, leaving our family with bad memories.

Besides a couple of laugh out loud scenes, this wasn't a very good movie. I thought Mila Kunis was particularly miscast for her role. Robin Williams played his part perhaps too realistically. (Very eerie).
