Intro to the story near the beginning:

'Devil. Monster. Demon. Beast.'
'Who says that only God has several names?'
'Demons are found in hell.'
'But I met one such demon in the so-called paradise in Goa.'
'But demons possess a special quality.'
'It's his habit to be present at his own funeral.'
'Hatred is his weapon.'
'Anger is his explosive.'
'He doesn't know what sympathy means.'
'No one loves him.'
'Every love story has a hero...'
'...a heroine...'
'...and a villain.'
'But this love story is of a villain.'

Really, you are not worthy of earning even 2 rupees. You don't have that talent.

At around 28 minute mark that a church sign reads the best memorable quote:
"Forgiveness Does Not Change The Past, But It Does Enlarge The Future."

Aisha! Do you want to hear a joke? Once, a man was drowning in the sea. He started praying to God to save him. A fishing boat came. He said, "Give me your hand." The man said, "No. God will save me." Then a ship came. The captain said, "Hold my hand." He said, "No. God will save me." The man drowned. After his death, he asked God, "Why didn't You save me?" God said, "You think your father sent that boat and ship?" Aisha, I know that I might not be able to save you from dying. But by holding my hand, you can keep me alive.

Do you want to hear a joke? Once a man was drowning in the river. He yelled, "Lord Ganesha, please save me!" Lord Ganesha started dancing. The man asked, "Why are You dancing?" So, Lord Ganesha said, "Didn't you dance while immersing me in water?"

A joke. A woman went to the police station and asked the inspector... "Inspector, my husband had gone to the market... to buy okra two days ago. He hasn't come back yet."
The inspector said, "What's the big deal, madam? Cook some other vegetable."

Do you want to hear a joke? Once a thief got into a house to steal. The safe read, "There is no need to break open this safe. Press 1,2,3 and then the red button. The safe will open."
As soon as the thief pressed the button... the alarm rang and the police came there.
===
Who are you?
-I am the one who won't let you die in peace... nor will I let you live in peace.
===
I'm sorry. Don't mind, but I have no mind.

Just as a lion plays with his prey in the forest. He catches it and then let's it go, and then catches it again. He chases it, catches it and then let's it go again. Until you keep running, he'll keep chasing you. The day you turn the tables, you'll be the hunter. And he'll be the prey.

As advertised - 'Every love story has a hero, a heroine and a villain. But this love story is of a villain.' But unlike the Hollywood Ali MacGraw/Ryan O'Neal's poignant 1970 “Love Story,” there are no focus in the love stories but loaded with angry fight scenes, so-so music videos, "wise" quotes and jokes, befitting to the circumstances or not. Hence a frantic and watered down romance thriller! Not one of the better Hindi films I have seen.

Very interesting mixture of romance and serial killing.

Parineeta Jan 19, 2015

A woman crosses paths with a serial killer on her way home from dropping off her former mafioso husband at a job interview. This may sound like the beginning of a bad comedic joke but trust me it's not. The rest of the movie (most of which is told in flashback) serves up a strong lesson in karma, vengeance and the power of forgiveness. Ritesh Deshmukh (who plays the titular villain) shows a new and much appreciated layer to his acting range, he's usually a comedic actor but it's nice too see him step outside his comfort zone for a change. The leads; Shraddha Kapoor and Siddharth Malhotra are virtually newcomers in Indian cinema, so much so that I think this was my introduction to both actors and my review of their acting is so far so good. The soundtrack's hauntingly eloquent and the guest appearances by Kamal Rashad Khan and Prachi Desai were simply perfect for the mood of the film.
