A heartbreaking yet tender, bright and sweet story! It cracked my heart open and sewed it back. The story revolves around Dr. Austin and his first child. I initially read his book "Something for the pain" and enjoyed it and decided to read this one as well. This one is more about parenthood and bearing with a child who is different. This story really helps give the audience a sense of how parents with children with down syndrome feel and how they go incredibly far to help their child. The parental love is absolutely heartwarming. It's a very good story! I feel reading this allows the reader to know how lucky you may be, and to look on the bright side in all situations. In a society like today, a lot of teenagers seem to perceive shopping, phones, clothing as a key aspect of their life, yet I feel happiness can be something right in front of you that you just don't see. A very good read and will change your perception about life as a whole. I recommend it to everyone.
