This is (I think) the 6th book in this wonderful mystery series. They are set in northern England in a small town in the Yorkshire Dales. I've read almost all the books in the series and found them all well-written and engrossing. Some are darker than others.

This is a tough read for anyne who loves children, for it is about an abduction. There are no graphic details, but the reader can imagine the child's feelings. Interesting characters and good plot.
