This review is written by Holly (8 years old):

The three little chicken helped the blue jay get a chicken out of the blue jay's house.

what i liked about this book is it is funny because the chicken did not now if she is suppose to be feet or inches .

I wish it was longer.

I do love the chicken squad. They each have their own personality and talents. Love to watch them in action and see the farmyard from their point of view. Looking forward to the next adventure of these sassy little birds.

When a small blue bird arrives at the Chicken Squad Headquarters looking for her lost birdhouse, detective siblings Poppy, Sweetie, Sugar and Dirt spring into action. But there’s something suspicious about the blue bird. Why doesn’t she want to answer their questions about her “kidnapped” birdhouse?
Then a second crime comes to their attention: someone is stealing Grumpy Squirrel’s acorns!
Beginning chapter book readers won’t want to miss this hilarious misadventure of four wacky chicken detectives who seem to stir up almost as much trouble as they solve!
** The Case of the Weird Blue Chicken is the second book in the “Chicken Squad” series. Recommended for ages 6 to 9 years.
