The miraculous story of Mary begins with a young, innocent girl, completely unaware of the monumental role she will play in history. She is to marry the humble carpenter Joseph. Suddenly, her world is upended when she learns that she is carrying the son of God. She and Joseph travel to Bethlehem, while a shepherd in the field has a miraculous visitation and wise men watching the movements of the stars realize that an ancient prophecy is about to be fulfilled.

A better than average film on the Nativity.

Hi blahblahblah. Actually, the part about Jesus being God is in the Bible, in many parts of it. And not that the "fetus" would be the Son of God, but He was the Son of God from conception. You are right, our Lord and Savior was born in a barn. His birth as a human was a very humble beginning, just as God foretold it would be, since He came to serve us, and not to be served. The whole reason why He came as a baby was to grow up and die in our place. Christmas is a great holiday to celebrate, and it points toward Easter as the even greater holiday. What a wonderful God we have! Praise to His name for His willingness to meet us in our sin and to make a way to heaven for us, through His anointed Son, the Christ!

An amazing piece of fiction--Tatiana is a great actress, who plays the role of a woman who gets the ultimate mind-job: that her pregnant fetus will soon be the Son of God (and then, God himself; that part is not in the Bible--you're just suppose go along with it). The film continues with us assuming Joseph didnt have sex with Mary to get Jesus (they had other kids). The real miracle in the film is, the kid is born with poor pre-natal care--in a barn! Wow, that is amazing.

A more Scottish than usual telling of the story. Entertaining and fairly literate, but with several serious anachronisms. (Would one of the magi say Jesus was born to take away the sins of the world? Also, Mary and Joseph forget to get married.) Featuring an appearance by John Lynch as a suspiciously human Gabriel, who asks Mary to close her eyes and think of God.
