A totally interesting book on the Battle of Waterloo and covers both sides of this conflict which was the culmination of Napoleon's unauthorized escape from exile in Corsica. The author's keen knowledge of European nationalities certainly adds detail that this novice military historian was not previously aware of. Highly recommended.

Clear, concise and crisply written. What makes this book delightful are the author's comments reflecting his military experience and the English perspective on the battle of Waterloo.
