Clever writing if you can stick with it, dead goose details killed the story for me.

Jan 03, 2015

Two narratives take place: an almost detached and stoic tale of events where the most emotional involvement seems to about how to present an accidental road-kill goose so the tread mark won't show (lots of rich sauce), and mild annoyance over an ex taking personal books in the divorce settlement.

Glimpses of a desperate past emotional trauma are written in italics. Some one else's story?

Around Iceland's Ring Road she heads, in the dark of winter, with a friend's fragile child and loads of lottery money in the glove compartment.

Clever writing worth reading.
