Wow. Brilliant. Creepy. Twisty. Dark, oh so very dark.
I could not put this down. Every page was creepier than the one before. I dont want to say to much and give this away because it was filled with twists and turns and OMG moments. Highly recommend. I loved Peter's "The Girl before" but i now think i liked this one better.

3.5 out of 5. I liked it. Hard to cheer for either character however...if you feel the need to root for characters while you read..

Wow, this book is creepy and brilliant all at the same time. Really enjoyed it. Interesting characters and enough surprising twists to keep you hooked.

The pace of the book is great and I enjoyed the four main characters. The writing is not mind-blowing but not terrible enough to be distracting either. I enjoyed that the story is told from four different perspectives and has a different take on the morality of murder. Good for a bookclub discussion. There were also some unexpected twists. Quick, vacation or airplane read.

I found myself ever so slightly intrigued by the events taking part in this book. The plot wasn't extremely enticing, but it wasn't too boring either. One issue, was that you could almost tell what could happen, I wish that wasn't the case. It's a good rule of thumb to not drop too many hints about what's going to happen, because you might end up leaving a reader saying in monotone "I was right".
The characters, I could only infer their personalities. I feel like the book itself was mainly about murdering. Yes, we understand why Lily is a killer... But what about the other characters? What about Miranda? What made her the way she is? And poor Ted, what about him? All I know about Ted is that he-- Oops. That'd be a spoiler. I understand if the author thought explaining them would be a waste, since -.
My point being! This is an okay book, but not the most interesting. Done and done.

This novel was recommended to me with the comment, "...a killer that you will like." I did enjoy the protagonist in this fast-paced read. While reading, I was reminded of Gone Girl, The Passenger, and The Girl on the Train (which I liked the least of the three.) I do enjoy an unre!iable narrator! Lily is not so much unreliable as a narrator, but more as a character in what she does or does not reveal to other characters. Lots of twists right up to the end. If you like a sexy, fast-paced novel, give this one a try!

Good story of triangles gone terribly bad. Great character development full of twists. As noted a good beach read; I read most of it on an airplane. I liked it and recommend it.
