Let me take you back to the dark days of the early 90s: an adulterer ran the country, grunge ruled the airwaves, phones pluged into walls and only made calls, and the political correctness police stalked the campuses. How dare marginalized groups speak up for themselves? Only one movie had the guts to present these monsters: 1994's campus comedy "PCU." Gays, vegetarians, African-Americans, and, oh yeah, feminists all better watch out! Really, this is just a sub-"Animal House" slobs vs. snobs comedy with a sophomoric sense of humor and an inane message (Everybody needs to just chill out and party!). It's kinda fun because of its clueless politics, very 90s cast (Jeremy Piven, David Spade, Jon Favreau), and George Clinton performance, which is the highlight. Guitar wanker master Steve Vai did the soundtrack. Definitely a time capsule. Maybe crack open a Zima and break out your flannel for this one.
