Very strong and entertaining female orphan, facing the challenges of gangs, life in a Catholic orphanage, and the loss of her sibling. Ignore the Little House on the Praire cover and read this fast moving story of a girl who will not give up.

This is a page-turner of a historical mystery with a strong female protagonist. Loved it!
