Add a CommentAlthough this was a pleasant enough story, I wonder what the point was. This story unfolds and unfolds and unfolds but there's nothing here but "ordinary". There's nothing poignant, exciting, exhilarating in this story.
I almost didn't finish but wanted to know if this would end on a high. Nope.
While the story had some enjoyable descriptive narrative, I don't feel like it really went anywhere at the end of it all... I kept waiting for the significance of things to show up that seemed to just get washed away.
