A different sort of slash horror than you may have seen before. More of a serial killer challenge. The film was too long for me so I deducted a few points. Shot extremely well and the subtitles were very well done so that you never wondered what was being discussed and always knew what was going on.

Thank goodness it was fictional or some MA rated video game. Over the top violence and gore when a journalist from Jakarta, facing a failing career and marriage, connected with a psycho serial killer from Tokyo via the internet. The special effect on the slow motion close up bullet head shot (simulation) was best I have seen.

Excellent movie that shows how two very different individuals from different upbringings can hold some very horrifying similarities. The protagonist struggles to free himself from becoming the villain. Excellent musical score, very satisfying action scenes, and very good character building. This movie is very, very far from disappointing!

Nomura: Loneliness...It leaves deep wounds. Have you ever wondered if it would just be easier to die?

Nomura: Listen carefully, Soichi ... The strong person gets what he wants. The weak person gets everything taken away.
