I felt like I wasted a lot of time on this book. If I were new to sewing this might have been helpful. This read as if it was the author's first book and she wrote it to increase her income. Perhaps I learned something, but it's been a couple months and I can't remember a thing I read.

This book has some nice ideas about how to fit sewing into your schedule - if you have a similar life situation as the author (stay-at-home homeschooling mom who has an active crafting blog and wrote a book). If you are in a similar demographic, then this book might be useful, but I personally didn't find it very helpful. She does have some nice quick and easy projects in the second half of the book.
