Melissa is not as funny as Joan. It was OK but I question her reason for making this book. She doesn't need to get more money or try to stay in show business.

Clever and funny, almost as if Joan wrote it herself.

I really enjoyed this book. Melissa did a great job and I could hear Joan's voice in the background the entire time I was reading it, saying all the things Melissa has written.

Melissa did a great job, producing a funny, sassy, loving portrait of her mother and their life together. In the vernacular, I should be so lucky my daughter would write such a book about me!

A wonderful book with the flavor of Joan on every page. She was a New York City icon and I miss her every day. When any major news story splashes thru the media I think of Joan Rivers and wonder what her comments would be. I never had the pleasure of running into her on the streets of NYC but people I know have and they all had funny stories about the encounters. Joan had a morning talk show briefly, and she served the audience fresh hot coffee and warm chocolate chip cookies before the show. Who does that?! God bless her.
