I know the costume that she wore was distracting but the show was a good one to watch. glad that they have dvd of the show now.

I don't know about you, but, I, for one, just cannot take (at face value) the Wonder Woman character and what she's supposed to represent.

To me, as a "so-called" superhero, Wonder Woman is a walking contradiction.

When she's standing there, literally, half-naked in her "All-American" Wonder Woman costume, showing us lots of cheek and plenty of ample cleavage, all I see is a sex-object, nothing else.

But, yet, being a superhero, any sexual attraction is not supposed to come to one's mind at all.

When confronted by this scantily clad woman (who is all about crime-fighting) sex has absolutely nothing to do in the least with her intended purpose.

So, why, I ask myself, is Wonder Woman showing us so much skin? - and - Why is her costume so sexually revealing? To me Wonder Woman, as a superhero, is the silliest, most hypocritical, contradiction of all.

It totally killed me that never once did any of the bad guys in the show ever make even the slightest pass at her or utter a single sexist slur in her presence.

In a way I have to give the gorgeous Lynda Carter credit for keeping all of the sex-hungry wolves at bay. As Wonder Woman she was the most frigid block-of-ice representing womanhood that I've ever seen.

I gave this TV series only a rating of 1.5 stars. That's because I thought the show was quite terrible. It was badly produced. It had idiotic situations. And the visual effects were all crap (including Wonder Woman's invisible plane).
