I Heard you Paint Houses is the best book I've ever read. From beginning to end, I was on the edge of my seat. Putting the book down was hard because there was never a single dull moment as the author described the life of Frank "The Irishman" Sheeran. If you're intrigued by the Mafia and the inner workings of this very secret society, you will not be disappointed in this book.

I think this book answers the question: what happened to jimmy Hoffa, sr.? who else would Hoffa trust, to get into their car, in the parking lot where he was waiting for the meet, other than family members, and close associates of himself? the book answers the question of what happened to the body (it's not buried in a football stadium). frank sheeran, the big Irishman, was on his death bed when he wrote this book, with a ghostwriter. he goes so far as to reveal the moment of the murder, what was going on in his head, and --likely-- in Hoffa's mind, too. chuckie O'Brien, foster son of Hoffa, was complicit; he was the driver of the auto used to pick Hoffa up, ostensibly for the meet with a gangster. sheeran reveals the methods used for such an execution; as well as the motive.
