What are the 8 major allergens?
A group of the eight major allergenic foods is often referred to as the Big-81 and comprises of milk, eggs, fish, crustacean shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat and soybean.

Tree nut allergies are distinct from peanut allergy, as peanuts are legumes, whereas a tree nut is a hard-shelled nut. © 2015. Food Allergy Canada (formerly Anaphylaxis Canada)

• Brazil nuts
• Cashews
• Chestnuts
• Hazelnuts (filberts)
