This is the second series by Lawrence that I have read. The first the Thorns series, was good. This one is better. In both there is a hint of sci fi. This book starts off as a fantasy novel and slowly develops into a possible post scientific society. I really enjoyed the main characters, the world building and the story. Really looking forward to book 2...
