Since all the stories were all different authors, most of the stories were good but nothing amazing. A few were great though and I'd say it's worth your time.

This short story collection had such a fun premise, but it was more miss than hit, with varying quality of writing prompts and dull filler between stories. Standout gems were from authors I already knew and loved (Susan Dennard, Marissa Meyer), and I really loved the contribution by Cindy Pon, which retold the Medusa story in a new setting, pointedly dealing with rape culture and victim blaming, but I had to wade through so much meh to get to them that the effort was almost not worth it.

Loved it!!
Some stories are just to hard to part with. And some made me rethink about "villains".

HANDS down, one of the best books I’ve ever read. This books gives you an insight of how your classic stories would be if the villain was the protagonist. After all, no one is ever the villain of their own story. My favourites were The Sea Witch (but I might be biased because MARISSA MEYER), Death Knell- Victoria Schwab and Sera by Nicola Yoon. I won’t spoil anything but let me just say, if you’re a person who likes backstories and ever find yourself rooting for the Villain, this is definitely the book for you!

What a waste of my life. Don't bother with this book. There is maybe one, two good stories out of here but even those are hardly worth it. It's a shame because I like these authors and I like these booktubers and while this may be have been a good idea, the execution was poor.

Just, don't pick it up. There are better things to read.
