The larger text is great to read out loud, while still being informative about the topic. Each illustration also has smaller text with more information for children to grow into if they enjoy construction vehicles, cranes, and building. The illustrations are also instructive.

Great book for kids interested in cranes and construction.

Fantastic book for kids who are curious about the process of building tall buildings. Excellent use of elevations in the illustrations to help kids truly understand the scale of the pylons and foundations into the bedrock. My 5 year old loved it.

My 4.5 yo grasped the concepts very readily. He especially liked the small full-view building "maps" to help him understand each concept. A great book to accompany ECFE STEM classes.

Great picture book for kids who are interested in how things are built. There is quick narration to use as a quick read-along story and a longer narration on each page to provide more details for the older kids in your family or group.
